This dish is from the pizza capital of Italy: Naples! This briefly cooked sauce is fragrant and spicy, with gorgeous, strong flavours. Traditionally made with spaghetti, we like to make this sauce with tagliatelle, which we believe holds the sauce better.
Our puttanesca sauce is made with our Italian tomato sauce and contains a fragrant mix of anchovies, capers and olives, with a pinch of chilli for some extra kick!
Traditionally, tagliatelle is from the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Marche in Italy. The name comes from the Italian verb ‘tagliare’, meaning ‘to cut’.
